Lean coking coal

Lean coking coal : higher-ranked , lower volatile, less plastic mass when heated, weaker meltbility, cohesiveness and shrinkability. Nonetheless, the coke strength and wear resistance can vary greatly . With particles, which make the wear resistance worse,most hard coke produced from lean coals present large blocks, few cracks and poor fusibility .  The addition of lean coal to the blending can improve the lumpiness and hardness.
